Annually BEMI host a community kickoff party in honor of National Mentoring Month. The above video captured our moments for the launch of our 2013 calendar year. This is a day when BEMI gets to literally see the convergence of our community focus on one thing – celebrating a chosen and special generation of youth.  BEMI’s ability to unify our efforts with our government, schools, community, churches and local business has literally enables us to create a greater impact of success with this generation.
This kickoff party is just the beginning of BEMI’s commitment in doing our part of empowering and equipping a chosen and special generation to accomplish what no other generation before them has

Next Step Dance Junior Performing Company compete in all styles of dance and have won numerous top awards and scholarships at the local, regional and national level.  They are directed by award winning Choreographer Michelle Stafford.  Next Step Dance & BEMI are partners with a common goal of positively influencing and empowering the next generation to reach their full potential. This performance demonstrates how this generation is raising the bar in what we call “Standard of Excellence”.

Julian is one of many gifted and talented students in the Frisco Independent School District.  However, his commitment to his craft helps him stands out from the pack.  He is a phenomenal leader, director and choreographer.  He  loves to express himself through dance.  He has worked with other Dance Performing Companies and has even taught dance classes to young girls and boys.  He definitely believes that this generation represents more than we as a community currently see.  This dance performance above speaks louder than words could ever say to our community.  BEMI is so proud of you – keep up the great work!!!  You are definitely transforming one person at a time through the expression of dance.

Gabrielle is smart, funny and sweet. She performs both in the FISD classroom as a honor student and on the runway. Congratulations on winning your first modeling contract with Model Productions. Keep up the great work!!!

This organization was founded in May 2012, Alma y Corazon Tejano Ballet Folklorico is a performing arts organization dedicated to the education of Hispanic contributions to society with a strong emphasis on instilling cultural pride and awareness.  This organization instills poise and confidence in their students and they are directed by Danny and Lorena Villalva.  The above video demonstrates a beautiful portrait of the Hispanic culture.  BEMI is so proud of the Corazoncitos which means “Little Hearts”.  Keep up the great work!!!

Tanesa is a 17 year old fashion designer. She designs clothing for teens, tweens and young adults. Her line is geared toward the hip and trendy fashionista. Her work has been recognized by New York Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, Dallas Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Toronto Fashion Week and Atlanta Fashion Week.  BEMI is so proud of you and we know that we will soon see the NesaFab Collection in major retails stores in the near future. Christopher definitely has a special gift in creating beautiful images on canvas.  BEMI is recognizing him as BEMI Artist of the Year.  Keep up the great work! We are positive we will see you and your work among some of the greatest artist of this century.

Zoie has demonstrated many creative and innovative ideas in video production that influences and provokes positive change among her peers, environment and community.  However, she leaves no doubt in the mind of others about her athletic ability and her love for basketball.  She has honored GOD with her gifts and talents both on and off the court. As she enters her Junior year, she continues to prepare both academically and  athletically for college to ensure she accomplish her goals and leaves a positive mark in the world. Congratulations on your 2011 – 2012 School Season Awards. Keep up the great work!!!
